After losing his mother to aggressive cancer right here in Brevard County, Clayton Human began to look closely at the environmental factors that surround us every day. He became convinced that the water we drink and the air we breathe inside our homes play a critical role in our long-term health.
He realized that as a General Contractor, he had the power to change that narrative for others. He founded American Eco Systems with a singular goal: to build homes that are not just shelters, but sanctuaries. Whether it is a custom “forever home,” a commercial medical facility, or his visionary tiny home agri-hood, every project is approached with a commitment to health. By integrating advanced whole-home water filtration, non-toxic materials, and resilient construction methods, Clayton Human is honoring his mother’s legacy by building the safe, healthy environments he wishes she had.

While spending time around Cocoa Beach, our founder, Clayton, noticed the powerful impact of “Drown Zero” life ring stations. These simple but highly effective flotation stations are built on the life-saving principle of “Throw, Don’t Go,” giving bystanders the tools to help someone caught in a rip current without putting themselves at risk.
Clayton recognized a critical safety gap further up the coast at our local Playalinda Beach. Because Playalinda has fewer lifeguards on duty and is located significantly further away from immediate emergency rescue services, the need for rapid-response water safety is urgent, yet the beach had zero flotation stations. Leveraging his professional relationships and connections with the Canaveral National Seashore, Clayton was able to get the actual decision-makers to the table to address the issue.
As a direct result of this advocacy, Drown Zero life ring stations are now being permanently installed at every single pier at Playalinda Beach, providing a crucial layer of safety and peace of mind for locals and visitors alike.
