BRAPCO was founded in 1992 by Ray Arruda. Back then we only had a handful of employees and the business was run out of a small home office. Ray put in a lot of long hours to bring in new business. His dedication to quality work and customer satisfaction was rewarded as clients often referred him to others who were interested in improving their homes.
The business continued to expand and soon there was a need for a larger office and more employees. In 1998 BRAPCO moved to our current location on Main Street in Woonsocket, RI, becoming one of the largest and well respected Painting and Reomdeling contractors in the area. Today, we employees over 42 dedicated paint, building & remodeling professionals.

Ray Arruda - Managing Partner
Ray has over 40 years experience in painting and over 35 years experience in remodeling. During his career he was worked for many successful contracting companies honing his skills in the trade. Once he had enough experience under his belt, Ray decided to strike out on his own and start his own contracting company. Over the past 30 years Ray has built a reputation for quality work, which continues to today at BRAPCO.

Jen Arruda - Office Manager
For over 10 years, Jen has steered the BRAPCO ship in the right direction. Her ability to coordinate vendors and supplies helps keep our projects on-time and in a pinch, her problem solving skills are 2nd to none. Jen overseas the financial ends of the business, handling the accounting & payroll tasks and is very active in the local business community.

Roxane Clemente - Office Supervisor
BRAPCO runs because of the coordination skills of Roxanne. For the past 7 years she has started the day off by opening our offices. She manages all of the daily appointments, while making sure our personnel get to the right job site. In addition, Roxanne assists Jen with estimates & invoicing and follow-up phone calls. At the end of the day, she is usually last to leave... closing our offices for the night.

Mike McDevitt - Managing Partner
In 2001 Ray wanted to expand the Remodeling & Building portion of the business. He asked long time friend and owner of M & M Floor Tile, Mike McDevitt, to become his business partner.
In Loving Memory
Sadly in 2006 Mike passed away suddenly. He will be greatly missed around the office, as he would always brighten up everyones day. Our thoughts go out to his family, know he will always be on our minds and in our hearts.
